ARJUN PARMAR, BA
PhD STUDENT

Enhancing Accessibility in Sport Science & Injury Research

ABOUT ME

I’m Arjun Parmar, a PhD student specializing in athletic injury and rehabilitation at Michigan State University. As a student in the Department of Kinesiology and a member of the Athletic Injury and Rehabilitation (AIR) Lab, my work focuses on developing innovative tools to enhance recovery and performance after injury.

My primary goal is to improve the accessibility of tools used by researchers and clinicians to measure and analyze human movement. Many existing technologies are prohibitively expensive or impractical for clinical settings, which limits their widespread impact. To address this, my work combines artificial intelligence, open-source wearable development, and biomechanics to make motion analysis more affordable and practical for both research and clinical use.
